Alex Budiyanto

Alex Budiyanto serves as the President of DAMA Indonesia Jakarta (Forming Chapter), an emerging initiative to establish an official chapter of DAMA International in Indonesia. With a strong interest in data governance and the strategic role of data in digital transformation, Alex is committed to supporting the development of a professional community that promotes best practices in data management.

His involvement with DAMA Indonesia focuses on introducing the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) framework to a broader audience across government, academia, and industry. Through public discussions, community workshops, and local collaboration, he aims to increase awareness of the importance of data as a critical asset in decision-making, compliance, and innovation.

Alex brings experience from leading multiple national initiatives in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. His work emphasizes cross-sector collaboration and capacity building, helping organizations understand how proper data management can support operational efficiency, data protection, and long-term value creation.
